Evangelical
Homes of Michigan

Founded
by a local congregation in 1879
to meet the needs of orphaned children and the aged, Evangelical
Homes of Michigan is a Christ-based ministry. We exist because of
Christs commandment to love and serve our neighbors.
Related to the United Church of Christ, Evangelicals Board
of Directors is comprised of ordained clergymen and women and members
of local UCC congregations. Guided by the historic values of the
Christian community, Evangelical seeks to serve all people regardless
of their race, religion or national heritage.
The Board of Directors established the following Core Values Statement,
a Core Purpose Statement and Mission Statement to guide Evangelical
Homes of Michigan in managing and advancing its ministry.

Mission
Statement
Evangelical Homes Of Michigan
It
is the mission of the Evangelical Homes of Michigan, a Health and
Human Service Ministry related to the United Church of Christ, to
provide health and housing services to persons who are elderly,
infirm or developmentally disabled, in a manner which respects their
rights, dignity and worth as children of God and to render those
services with compassion and patience in accordance with the highest
professional and ethical standards.
