Evangelical Homes of Michigan

Memory Support Center

As a healthcare leader throughout southeast Michigan, EHM prides itself in addressing emerging needs in the communities it serves. We have the expertise and experience to confront the challenge of dementia. That is why, with the help of friends, we are building the finest Memory Support program in the county. This will be the county’s only program that provides comprehensive memory loss care and support at every stage of the disease.

The Memory Support Center will include resources for residents and the community-at-large, all on the Brecon Village campus, including:

  • A resource center
  • A home-based program
  • An adult day program
  • An assisted living residence

“It begins with forgetfulness. The words don’t come, not hard words, but the name of your granddaughter. Confusion persists. You recall details that no one else remembers and forget major points everyone else knows. Others begin to act differently around you. You are embarrassed to ask for help.”

Richard Taylor, Ph.D.
