At EVANGELICAL HOME-PORT HURON, we care about people. Our team of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants and therapists meet the complex medical and therapeutic needs of residents in our long-term care facility. More than that, we understand each person needs a kind word and a soothing touch.

While nothing can really take the place of one's own home, we have made every effort to create a homelike atmosphere for residents. Cheerfully decorated PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE ROOMS, corridors and lounges create a welcome place for residents and their families. Carpeted hallways and an in-house beeper system help create a quiet atmosphere. Air-conditioned corridors and common rooms make the Home comfortable all year round. Residents and their families enjoy strolling on the Margaret Anderson Memorial Walkway that surrounds our Home, visiting in our screened porch or sitting in our covered entryway.

Occupying its own wing with a separate Dining/Day Room and Quiet Room, our HOSPICE CARE UNIT  meets the special needs of residents with dementia.
