Innovative Community Programs Driven By Faith and Mission
At Evangelical Homes of Michigan, we recognize our responsibility to positively impact lives and serve unmet needs. This recognition causes us to continually reach out to our friends in the larger neighborhoods in which our healthcare facilities and senior residential communities are located with a diverse range of programs and services.
Why do we extend our resources like this? Simple. It’s the right thing to do.
- Home Delivered Meals are sometimes the only complete meal our clients eat during the day. These meals are nutritionally sound, delicious and allow an opportunity for interaction which the older adult might otherwise not have.
- Play & Learn Children’s Place allows intergenerational interaction for our residents at Evangelical Home—Saline. Children from the daycare have daily activities within the Evangelical Home community including story time and crafts. Our residents take great joy in the children.
- Passport to Living Well program enables folks from the greater community to enjoy access to activities and wellness programming. This program allows for camaraderie with other older adults and an opportunity to be part of our comprehensive wellness program.
- Home Care, when help is needed within the home, Shared Services Home Health Care and Shared Care Services are able to provide expertise and compassion to you or your loved ones. Click here for more information.
We will continue to seek out unmet needs in our greater communities and develop services and programs to meet these needs.
