The cost to construct the Memory Support Center will exceed $10 million. We will raise $2 million of this total through private donations. We are already over halfway to our fundraising goal, but there is still some distance to go. How can you help? A great way is by sponsoring a brick paver to be installed in one of the Memory Support Center’s main entryways. This will help us pay for completion of the facility’s construction, and it will accomplish even more.
Think of it this way: By sponsoring a brick, you may provide lasting testament to a loved one who has bravely confronted Alzheimer’s disease or another form of dementia. But even if no one you know closely has been affected by memory loss, your sponsored brick can permanently commemorate your commitment to quality care and support.

Q. How can I order my brick?
A. Simply complete the order form. There are three sizes from which to choose for your sponsorship. Please make your check payable to: Evangelical Homes of Michigan.
You may mail us your order form and payment, or drop it off at:
Evangelical Homes of Michigan

Attention: Kelly Adams
Q. When will my brick be installed?
A. Installation should occur in Spring 2009 when the walkways are completed. The exact installation date can depend on weather. With much of the Memory Support Center’s construction happening in winter, installation of newly inscribed brick pavers may need to wait for favorable conditions.
Q. Where will my brick be located?
A. Your brick paver will be placed within one of two covered entryways – either the Memory Support Center’s front entrance or the entrance to the Adult Day Center. When you order your brick, we will contact you about its location. You may choose your preferred location, with two back-up choices. Then we will send you a map showing you the brick’s exact location when it has been installed.
Q. How much of my sponsorship will go to the Memory Support Center?
A. About 85%. The remaining 15% will cover the cost of the brick’s material, engraving, and installation.
Q. May I stop by to see my brick?
A. Any time! Since the entryways will be outside of the Memory Support Center, you will not disturb our residents or care providers by paying a visit.
Q. Who do I contact if I have questions?
A. Please contact:

“I wish the Memory Support Center had been here when my late husband was suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. It would have provided just the right care and environment for him – and greater peace of mind for me.”
