Susan Hurst returns as Executive Director at Evangelical Home Saline
Evangelical Homes of Michigan is pleased to announce the return of Susan Hurst as the administrator Executive Director, Senior Living Services at Evangelical Home Saline. Ms. Hurst has returned to the company after spending six months working at a facility near her home in Grosse Ile, MI. “I have missed Evangelical Home-Saline and the environment that Evangelical Homes of Michigan provides,” Hurst explained in a statement. “It’s good to be back.”

For almost three years Ms. Hurst served as the administrator at Evangelical Home Saline. She has almost 30 years of experience in human services and senior care and has been a licensed nursing home administrator for 19 years. Hurst is a past President, Fellow, and 16-year member of the Michigan chapter of the American College of Health Care Administrators - Aging Services of Michigan and a secretary elder on the Business Alliance Board.

Hurst’s return ushers in a new era as the company begins to train the next generation of administrators. Hurst will be working closely with a newly-appointed Administrator in Training, calling upon her decades of experience to ensure that Evangelical Home Saline continues to be run with quality and efficiency in the future. In addition, Hurst hopes to continue the success Evangelical Home Saline has seen with the Pathways rehabilitation program, the specialized hospice program, and the person-centered dementia care unit.
